Kindergarten is designed to prepare children to enter first grade. All Standards of Learning as set forth by the Commonwealth of Virginia are met in our school. We use the Beginning to Read, Write and Listen phonics curriculum, as well as Everyday Mathematics.

     In addition, we offer studies in science, history, computer, art, music, and introductory Spanish. "Jesus Time," outside play, and learning centers are incorporated into their daily routine. Class is offered five days per week (Monday through Friday). Students receive a great deal of individual attention as class size is limited to 12 children with 2 teachers.
